Encoding

  • With CDBF, you can "lock" your database with a password so that nobody can read or view it without your permission. To protect your database with a password, use the "Tools - Encoding - Encode database" menu command. You will be prompted to enter the password you want to use to access your database.

  • If you want to remove a password protection, use the "Tools - Encoding - Decode database" menu command.

  • If you already have a password set for your database, use the "Tools - Encoding - Define password" menu command for access to the information.
    Also you can call up Password Dialog by double-clicking on the status bar.
